The third X Factor audition - no leads in Leeds

September 12th, 2006

The third episode of the audition stage of The X Factor was definitely an interesting one: out of the thousands of contestants that auditioned in Leeds, none of them made the grade! A bit of X Factor history made there…

London was a lot more hopeful with several contestants making it through.  Probably the biggest talking point of the day was boy-band / vocal group ‘Avenue‘, who were put through by Louis and Sharon after Simon confessed he ‘didn’t get it’.

Turns out that Simon’s instincts were on the money, because various papers have revealed that Avenue already have a management deal, and were put together in an attempt to make it big on the X Factor.  Whether or not they will be allowed to continue in Boot Camp remains to be seen.
