Have you auditioned for The X Factor this series?

This year was the most popular year yet for The X Factor, with more than 100,000 wannabe stars auditioning for the show up and down the country.

Are you one of the people who auditioned? If so, we’d like to hear about your experiences.  Please add them as a comment to this post - the best audition write-ups will be added to their own special section of this site!

If you have any photos of your time at the auditions, send them to us and we’ll put them up too! The address to use is auditions@x-factor-fan.co.uk

One of the most frightening things I’ve ever done! Went to the Manchester auditions (just saw the back of my head on TV!), and found it really hard standing in front of the judges…

I wouldn’t say my singing is bad (I didn’t make it on the show for being totally rubbish!) but it really shows you just how good the ones who do go through are when you’ve been stood in front of Simon, Sharon and Louis…
