Louis’ group - the groups

September 30th, 2006

There was some tension in the groups camp - felt most in foursome ‘Brothers‘ who split during their stay with the other groups in to two duos: the Twins, and Brothers.

The Twins seemed to have their attitude all wrong, choosing to take an early night instead of rehearsing, and this cost them - they weren’t put through, in potentially the easiest decision of the day.

Their erstwhile band-mates Brothers were a totally different case, and showed true talent on stage.

Controversial boy band Avenue put on a good show, and were put through to the final 8 - however, it has since been revealed that they have been kicked off the show for breaking the rules about disclosing any existing management deal.  I guess this will come in a future show…

Not so successfuly were Eton Road who only formed three days before their first audition. They did put in a lot of work before their audition, but put on a truly horrendous performance, forgetting the words and hitting some awful notes.  Perhaps this is just due to the fact that they are new to the game, but luckily for them, Louis saw their potential, and put them through.

Twin sisters Identical amused and entertained as usual, particularly with their rendition of PCDs Dontcha! I don’t think they were too surprised when they didn’t make it though.

Foursome 4 Sure made a great entrance on to stage, and showed some real group talent, fully deserving a place in the last four.
Our tips:  4 Sure, Brothers and Eton Road.
